P2's trip to the Manx Museum

On Wednesday 23rd June P2 went to the Manx Museum to find out about what seaside holidays were like in the past.

We had an early lunch at school and then went on a coach to Douglas.  
We saw some pictures of the seaside a long time ago and we looked at some old metal buckets and spades. We watched a Punch and Judy show and played Lotto and made jigsaw puzzles.
 
Then we went into the main museum and had fun going in the tram, sitting in deckchairs and drawing pictures.
 
We all learnt a lot about long, long ago in the Victorian days and had a good day.
