Buchan Triathlon 2010

On Saturday I entered the Buchan Triathlon 2010. There were lots of people there and it was good weather
 

First we had to swim three lengths of the pool, and then cycle 800m and last of all run 600m. We were all called to the swimming pool to start off, and when we got out of the pool we had to run to our bikes in our costumes. It was sunny but very windy and so it was a bit chilly! We had to put on our special Triathlon t-shirt, trainers and helmet. Then we had to cycle the bike course, on the way out it was harder because we were cycling into the wind, but once we turned around it was easy coming back! We jumped off our bikes and ran out towards the chapel. When we crossed the finish line we got special medals which are really nice.  
 
It was a very fun morning, and I would like to thank Mr MacGregor and Mrs Ilott for arranging it and all the teachers who helped. I am definitely doing it next year, the course will be longer as I will be doing U11 then, but that’s okay! This photo is of me and Chess when we had finished – a bit puffed but very happy.
