P2's special visitor
Just after half term, Mrs Morton came back into school to visit P2. She brought some props from the olden days to show us what houses were like.
Match Report, u11 Southern Netball, 9 March
On Tuesday 9th March, Buchan Black netball team played in the Southern Schools U11 Netball Tournament.
Junior Island Chess Competition
This was held at Rushen School recently with the Buchan Team coming 2nd out of the 12 schools that took part. We won 32 games to Rushen's 35.5 games. Our No1 player Louis came third in his group and James came 3rd = in his group for the youngest player.
P1 Trip to the Fire station
On Tuesday 26th January we went to the fire station near the airport. It is a close fire station to where P1 work. The fireman showed us the special equipment they use if something is on fire and if someone has been hurt. We all had a go at holding the hose and we squirted some of the water up into the air!
